I have been a certified for 30 years, and I have two teenage children, who both have special needs. Teaching my students throughout the years have been a blessing. Each one has motivated me to learn new things to help them.

I am a graduate of Bowling Green State University, having completed a Master of Arts in English Literary & Textual Studies. I have the experience of teaching students with diverse backgrounds. I have taught composition, writing, ESOL, and ESP courses to students ranging from young learners to undergrads. I am committed to fostering a diverse environment where everyone feels included and respected. Although I have experienced the perils of being a multilingual speaker, I try to be intentional in my efforts to uphold student autonomy. These values are not only a part of my assignment sheets and grading rubrics, but they also guide my classroom discussions. A classroom, I believe, is an enabling space where students must feel heard, acknowledged, and valued.

I believe ALL children deserve a right to have an education that is catered to them. I want to see all children succeed in learning. By creating a safe and fun learning environment students are able to one be comfortable with learning but also to enjoy learning. By creating fun and creative ways for students to learn you are able to achieve this. I have always loved working with students and want to see them love learning.

I am passionate about helping students because I love watching them have that "light bulb" moment. I also believe that a student who does not like school can begin to like school if they get the proper help and guidance in subjects. I have worked with K-3 students and 5th graders. I just graduated college and I am now a licensed teacher. I can tutor elementary math, science, reading, writing, and social studies. My favorite subjects to tutor are writing, reading, and science. These were my favorite subjects when I was in school, and they help lay the foundation for other subjects. If a student is a kinesthetic or visual learner it is also fun to work with experiments or little projects with them to help them grasp concepts.

Something that has always interested me is that you can find math in all sorts of unexpected places. Math can help us to explain lots of relationships in subjects ranging from chemistry and biology to the humanities and even music! I think it's really important to be able to see these relationships and to understand the mathematics that govern them. If you're ready to nerd out about numbers, I'm ready to be your guide!I hold degrees in mathematics and music from Truman State University and Bowling Green State University.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Electronic Engineering with an emphasis in robotics. After graduation, I taught Robotics and Mathematics to students at various high schools to prepare them for national contests. Then, I traveled to South East Asia, to do an MBA in Finance and Banking with a full scholarship.I am also the founder of cultural community to bring students from different part of the world together.I was hired as a full-time lecturer in the business faculty at Limkokwing University and for four years, I taught Math, Economics, Finance and Business Statistics. I was voted best lecturer in the Business faculty by students for seven consecutive semesters. I received a scholarship to study for an MA in Economics from BGSU while tutoring students in Math and Economics for one year. I was then hired as a Business Analyst at the United Nations to work on ODS. I am passionate about teaching Math, Finance, and Economics. Helping struggling students prepare for exams is a very rewarding experience. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students.

I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I am currently working towards receiving my M.S. in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis. I aspire to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst working with individuals to help them achieve desired behavioral goals.I want to take my passion for teaching to those who want to learn and grow to the best version of themselves. This is a safe space that practices cultural humility and individualized learning.I can offer assistance with Elementary English, Elementary Math, Elementary Science, and Elementary Social Studies.I have experience and am able to assist individuals receiving special education services or individuals with learning and developmental disabilities. I specifically have experience with an autism spectrum disorder.

I am native French speaker from the south of France. I arrived in the United State about 15 years ago after living in Asia for almost 5 years. When I first came to the US, I was asked to teach French at the university while pursuing my master degree. I truly enjoyed the experienced. Sharing the knowledge of the French language, helping the students navigate through out the difficulties and having them discover a whole new culture, have been for me a wonderful reward.

I am a retired elementary teacher. I also currently work as a career coach/recruiter for adults looking to find a new opportunity in the restaurant/hospitality industry. I am motivated to help others to reach their full potential. Last year after helping my grandchildren survive the sudden shift to virtual schooling, I knew I had to do what I could to also help other children and their parents. As a dedicated K-5 Music Teacher in Florida with a Bachelor's in Music Education from Bowling Green State University, I have over 8 years of experience fostering a love for music in my students through piano, woodwinds, and ukulele. I want to be a positive light for all students, especially those who find school to be difficult. Many times a student has experienced challenges with reading which causes them to not enjoy it as much mostly because it has been hard for them.I am passionate about literacy and I make it my goal to help the students gain a positive reading experience that will foster a love for literacy and learning. Hopefully this positive light will carry over into their future.My experience in working with students is with kindergarten through eighth graders in the school setting. I have been a 5th grade classroom teacher for 10 years, then I served as a 7th and 8th grade teacher for 3 years. More recently I spent 8 years as a Reading Specialist for grades K-4 before becoming a Principal for a K-3 elementary school.I earned my Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University, then I earned my first Master's degree in Reading Instruction from Aurora University. Recently, I earned a second Master's degree in Educational Administration from Concordia University.My favorite subjects to tutor are Reading, Writing and English Language Arts. These are my favorite because I am an avid reader and I find enjoyment in escaping to the setting of the book as a character from the story.In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and new granddaughter. I also love family vacations by the water, swimming, biking, walking, and reading.
