After graduating from Duke, I had several jobs involving teaching, including training adults on Microsoft Excel and Word and as a Science, Math and English tutor to elementary and junior high students. I also worked in Philadelphia as a standardized patient for a medical school. These jobs made me realize how much I wanted to be a teacher full time.
