I am a graduate of Middlebury College. At Middlebury I double majored in Economics and History and minored in Spanish. Since graduating over four years ago, I have held two very different jobs! Directly after graduating, I served as a Youth Developement Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru. For two years I lived with a host family in the Andes Mountains and developed sustainable programs in preventative healthcare and education!

I am a professional fan of the English language and of writing! I graduated from Rutgers University with a BFA in Acting, and after trying my hand at that in New York City for a few years, found my way into the Master's in Teaching program at The New School. I am an alumna of The Williams School in New London, CT. I attended undergrad at Middlebury College in Middlebury, VT as a Molecular Biology & Biochemistry major. I am currently completing a dual Ph.D/Pharm.D. program at the University of Connecticut. My graduate work focuses on medicinal chemistry and pharmacology.

I am excited to have this opportunity, because I can use my love of learning to impact students in spaces that lack the necessary resources. Varsity Tutors is another stepping stone to complement this experience. The more exposure I get to mentoring different types of tutees, the stronger and more prepared I am to be a top tier mentor--a skill I will most definitely need for my long term goals. I'm able to combine my extensive pedagogical training with real life experiences to transport my students abroad. I am currently a chemistry major in my last semester at Middlebury College in Vermont. Besides chemistry, I offer tutoring in all high school math levels and specialize in writing/essay editing and SAT/ACT test prep as well. I am a creative writing minor and really enjoy using a variety of methods to help you develop a sense of conciseness, organization, and rhythm in their writing. Some of my favorite writers/poets include Langston Hughes, John Steinbeck, and Peter Matthiessen.
