Alongside my academic background, I've worked in education as both a program coordinator and a tutor, supporting students from middle school through college. Through my work as a GEAR UP tutor, I supported middle and high school students by helping them strengthen their reading, writing, and study skills while also building confidence in their academic abilities.

My name is Donatus, I'm a civil servant and part time college teacher. Have a bachelors degree in Economics, a masters degree in business and administration and a doctorate in business administration. I truly enjoy teaching math, it is such a joy getting to see the faces of kids once they realize that it is not as hard as they thought. I am a proud graduate of Grambling State University in Grambling, LA. I received my Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. I have always loved working with children. I was a Bible Study teacher and coordinator for over 25 years. At one point in my career, I took a break from my technology career to pursue a career in education. I successfully completed several classes at Touro University in California. I started working as a substitute teacher in 2000. I taught students from elementary to high school. I received so much positive compliments from the staff until one day I was offered a position as a high school Math teacher. I taught Algebra I and Geometry for about 3 years until I became a single parent. Unfortunately, I had to leave teaching and go back into technology to support myself and my three children. Now that my children are grown, I am looking into going back into education in my spare time. I am starting out by tutoring. I also have accepted a position to teach children 6-12 years old (reading) in China online. I also plan to go back to school to pursue degree in education. I have always loved working with students and have often been told that this is my calling/gift.

I'm passionate about helping students prepare for the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams. Having passed and obtained these licenses myself, I understand the challenges students face during the process. My approach focuses on simplifying complex concepts, building confidence, and helping students truly understand the material instead of relying only on memorization. My goal is to help students feel prepared, confident, and successful on exam day!

I am a graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.S. degree in physical education and math. Having an inspiration to further my education, I obtained my master's degree in curriculum and instruction and my educational doctorate in educational leadership.I have always loved working with and helping others in math and athletics. I have been in the educational field for over three decades and still have that same burning desire to assist others in the area of mathematics. I have a strong passionate for numbers and apply it in my teaching of young students today despite the pandemic that have limited some and prolonged others to achieve their goals.
