I am a Freshman of the Class of 2024 in the University of Texas at Dallas; my major is Computer Science. Back when I was in high school in Vietnam, which is a long time ago (at least 5 years), I stood out amongst my friends with the ability to perform really well in science subjects like Math, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. I always love learning new things and have a passion for academic stuff. One of my proudest achievements back then was earning the highest score amongst high school seniors in my state in the annual national final exam of 2015, an equivalent to the SAT. Afterwards, I spent nearly 4 years in college as a medical student but had to quit my studying to immigrate to the US. Though I am a little bit old to start college again, I do not really deem this as a disadvantage. In fact, my past experience would be really helpful to guide me through tough times in college. I am so excited and thankful that I have a chance to pursue my passion in one of the best education systems in the world.

I am a current undergraduate studying both neuroscience and history! I have a passion for teaching and my biggest goal for my students is to walk away feeling confident about the subject material covered in the session. I aim to create an environment that fosters trust and comfort so students are never afraid to ask questions or tell me that they're completely lost and need me to reexplain. I also make really nerdy puns and provide funny stories to help create connections with subject material and make for a fun session!

I'm a full-time high school math teacher who teaches juniors and seniors. This is my 5th year teaching. I'm looking to tutor after-school and on the weekends. I attended the University of Texas, majored in Mathematics, and graduated in 2011. During my time in Austin, I tutored part-time while going to school.

I'm a huge Red Sox fan and love watching detective shows when I have free time.

I am originally from San Antonio, TX; I completed my undergraduate education at Rice University in Houston where I received a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Currently, I am in my second year of medical school at Baylor College of Medicine.

I'm a writer and editor with a passion for learning that I love to share -- I've been told my tag line should be "let's find out!" I'm a native Austinite, but I lived in New York while I got my Bachelor's in Comparative Literature and minored in Linguistics. After I graduated I moved back home to Austin and got my Masters in Global Policy Studies at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at UT. Now I'm in Fort Worth, with an MBA I picked up along the way (also from UT Austin) -- apparently I can't stay out of school for long.

I am working toward an MD at Stanford University. I am happy to help with MCAT, SAT, SAT subject, AP test prep, and general academic subjects. Throughout my 8 years of experiencing tutoring middle school and high school students, I aim to help students raise their test scores through targeting points of weakness and developing the tools to conquer those areas. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy running, listening to music, traveling, and reading.

I am currently a Master's student at Cornell University. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Science from Cornell in 2016 and I plan to attend medical school in the fall of 2017. I am continuing my education with a Master's in the same field. For years, I've helped my friends and siblings with homework for school, and they've always told me that I had a talent for teaching; I understand concepts very easily, and explanations come easy as well. The goal that I work towards for my students is to bless them holistically, both through my academic skills and through any relationship that I am able to build with them. I believe in teaching my key patterns of thinking; teach them how to fish instead of giving them a fish, as it is said. I am best at Math and Science, and any of the high-school level subjects pertaining to those fields.

I'm Eisha, a Public Health major at the University of Texas at Austin with an interest in medicine and teaching.

I am an undergraduate student at Rice University pursuing a B.A. in Neuroscience with minors in both Business and Biochemistry and Cell Biology. I also compete athletically at the NCAA Division 1 level as a member of Rice's Men's Cross Country and Men's Track and Field teams.

I am a graduate of New York University and received my Bachelor of Science in Finance. I also completed my premedical coursework at NYU and will be attending medical school in July 2015 as my next step to becoming a pediatrician. Ever since high school, I have tutored and worked with children of all ages and from all backgrounds. As a tutor at Mathnasium, I worked with elementary and middle school students to improve their math skills. In college, I worked for America Reads and served as a reading tutor for 3rd graders in a NYC public school. And after graduation, I spent my time before medical school teaching self-contained 4th grade in Houston ISD. While I tutor a wide range of age groups and content areas, I am most passionate about tutoring math, science, and college admission tests (SAT and ACT). As a public school teacher, I am also very familiar with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade STAAR strategies and content. I have had a lifelong passion for working with children, teaching, learning, and math/science. I truly enjoy building relationships with my students and watching them grow academically. Besides teaching children, some of my hobbies include: hiking, skiing, swimming, working with animals, and enjoying the great outdoors.
