About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Louisville. I received my Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching. Since graduation, I have taught for over a decade in a middle school setting both regular education as well as reading and writing intervention classrooms. I am most passionate about English, Literature, reading, and writing. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, talking walks with the family, going to a beach anytime, and board games. Above all things, I want to be kind and focus on the good while accepting challenges with excitement.
