About Me

I have spent most of my career helping young people develop more effective written communication skills so they can succeed in college and in their chosen career. I have taught more than 6,000 students during my career, and I can help you become a more effective writer. I work with high school and college students as well as adult learners. I also love talking with students about literature and exploring the exciting themes and issues that help us learn about life. I have taught courses in American, British and world literature, and dozens of other courses in the humanities and other special topic seminar courses.
