I love working with students. I find each student's interests and motivations in school very interesting. I have studied at Yale University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Troy University. I have two master's degrees, one in Divinity and one in Applied Linguistics. My bachelor's degree is in English. Each of these places helped me learn more about English, linguistics, and the humanities. Because of my strong background in humanities, I have learned a lot about the dignity of each person. That is what motivates me to teach. Each person is worth an investment. Everyone can learn! I taught middle and high school students at an international school in Vienna, Austria. I also have experience working with adults in community center language courses. I also enjoy talking to people about their hobbies. Mine are baking, reading, gardening, and learning about animals.
