About Me

I am a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato. I received my Bachelor of Science in English with a concentration in Technical Communications and a minor in Interdisciplinary Computer Information Science (ICIS). I have advanced skills with in-person interviews as I have interviewed and analyzed over 1,000 candidates. I have tutored elementary and high school students and co-taught in college the classes of English, technical writing, public speaking, computer science, grants, and fundraising. I have spoken to groups of 10, 100, and over 1,000 people at conferences. I have tutored ESL students from age 2 to adult through 15,000 online ESL classes in over 30 countries. I am a certified ESL instructor. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, public speaking, and the professional certification for Certified Nursing Assistant. In my experience helping struggling students is my passion, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) learning together. I am a firm proponent of education with grace, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life. I kindly try to impart this appreciation to all my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that enriches my life, yoga, lifting weights, and the vintage game of rubic race.
