About Me

I am a graduate of Valdosta State university where I earned a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University. I have been a certified educator for 15 years, and have taught in both the elementary and high school settings. My current teaching position is teaching English Language Learners at the high school level. I enjoy tutoring in the evenings and on weekends because it allows me to help individual and small groups of students in ways that aren't always possible in the full sized classroom settings. I enjoy tutoring at all grade levels with my most passionate subject being anything language arts. I enjoy teaching phonics, reading, writing, and grammar skills to students of all ages.
