In college, I volunteered in the English resource center, where I tutored students from all over the globe. I enjoyed helping them with their English and interacting with different cultures. After graduation, I obtained my ESL certification. I taught at La Familia Resource Center, where I developed and taught ESL courses. Working with both children and adults to help them learn English was very satisfying! In 2015, I began working online as an English tutor. I have taught over 30 thousand classes online. I feel passionate about helping people learn and improve their English. The joy in teaching comes when a student's face lights up because they have accomplished what they thought was beyond their ability. I love helping students get to that point! In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, doing seasonal crafts, and taking my dog to the dog park.
