About Me

I have been an educator for 39 years working with special needs students across all grade levels. I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of South Florida. I completed a Master's degree from National Louis University in Curriculum and Instruction and an Educational Specialist's degree fromNorthwestern Louisiana State University in Leadership. I enjoy working with students and helping them be successful. It is rewarding to assist students in realizing their potential. I especially like teaching reading and written language. I hold to the philosophy that all students can learn and all children should be given the opportunity to be their best.
