About Me

Education is the building block for a better future. I come from a family of educators, including my parents and grandparents, who instilled in me the importance of education. I want to become a STEM teacher because I want to educate, guide, and inspire students to become the next generation of scientists who can change the world. I believe that my job as a tutor is to encourage students to become lifelong learners by providing a learning environment that simulates critical thinking without fear of asking questions. I try to help students understand the fundamental concepts by instilling confidence in their knowledge, providing various learning techniques, and connections to the real world that inspires curiosity. I find it rewarding to help a student understand a new, challenging concept. By creating a classroom that simulates critical thinking and a desire to learn, I believe I have provided the tools for my students to be successful as they move throughout their college career. Helping to create the next generation of scientists has inspired me to become a better scientist and I will continue to challenge my students as well as myself in the future.
