About Me

Education:-B.S. Fashion Merchandising and Minor in Marketing from IUP-M.S. Human Sciences, Merchandising from SDSU-M.S. Family and Consumer Sciences Education, TTU-Grad Cert. Women's and Gender Studies, TTUCertified Career Services Provider, National Career Development AssociationCurrently, I am a Ph.D. student at Texas Tech University majoring in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. I hold a Nevada CTE teaching license in FCS. I have many years of experience as a substitute teacher, working in the retail industry, and developing academic skills. I am passionate about helping students understand information, develop critical thinking skills, and improving deficient areas. I am a huge proponent of life-long learning as opposed to just mastery learning. Through the educational journey, it's important to understand how you "will use this later in life".
