- While I enjoy learning new languages, I enjoy teaching them just as much.
About Me
In 2017 I completed my degrees in German and Journalism and moved on to study a Masters degree TESOL while teaching German courses at West Virginia University. During that time I wrote substantial research into language learning and utilization and won the prestigious award as Eberly College Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant for the World Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics Department 2018-2019. Thereafter, I spent the summer teaching English to children in Italy and working as an adjunct German instructor for the Georgia Institute of Technology. It is important to me that students have fun while learning and develop a sense of personal confidence with material that they can carry out of the classroom. While I specialize in German language, history, and literature, I am happy to assist with any of the other subjects I am approved to help you with! English is another subject I'm passionate about and can help with writing, speaking, grammar, reading and listening comprehension.
Hobbies & Interests
I love learning and am an avid learner of languages, always curious about everything around me and always seeking to learn something new - even in the most mundane of situations or with the most mundane of things. Some of my favorite subjects are literature and film, as well as history! I love collecting vintage and learning about the past and how it influences us today. Some of my other hobbies include traveling, hiking, and getting to know new people from all over the world!
