About Me

I love educating and especially educating in non-traditional environments. If you spoke to my former students I am sure they would have stories to tell of outdoor classes before social distancing was a thing! I love to be a learner with my students. Growing up in the wilds of Northern Saskatchewan and for a time without power or plumbing has given me a creative and pioneering spirit. I love to unlock what motivates each student for their own success. When you "own it" you can do it! There are more than a thousand ways to learn but none of it is possible without personal ownership. You own it, and I will work hard to give whatever tools I can! Another way to say it. If you have a "why" you will be motivated for the "how".I received my formal education in several schools over several States. I began with Philosophy at Magdalene College in New Hampshire, I studied education at Eastern Michigan University, and I went on to study Theology at the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. The subjects I am passionate about are History, Writing, Philosophy, and Theology. I love seeking truth and I am in pursuit of wisdom wherever I can find it.
