About Me

I hold a B.A. in Biochemistry with a minor in Biology from the University of North Texas and a Masters of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas - Health Science Center. During my time as an undergrad at UNT, I have worked with the local school programs as a tutor for their high school students in grades 9th-12th in Biology and Chemistry as well as being a mentor to my students and helping them with their journey to college. I tutor a broad range of science subjects but I am most passionate about Biochemistry and Biology. During my time on the Varisty platform, I have taught Biochemistry and Biology at undergraduate and graduate levels. I love and enjoy helping my students understand the wonderful world of science and making the learning experience an enjoyable one for them. As a visual and hands-on learner, I am passionate about using different teaching methods and styles with my students. Through my time as a student, the tips and tricks that I've picked up when learning science materials are ones that I pass on to my students to help them grow in their academics.
