About Me

I am a graduate of the University of Georgia and currently in my first year at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. I received my Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion, with an emphasis in Behavioral Medicine. I have always been passionate about tutoring and offering academic help to a wide variety of students and ages since high school. I have spent time working with elementary-age students on reading and math as well as college-age students on chemistry and biology. My favorite subject to teach is Biology as this is my own area of expertise being a current medical student. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking and yoga. I believe in patience and being kind to yourself while learning, especially in times of great stress and frustration. I also like to tell my students that the best way to know you have mastered a concept is if you can teach it to me! Therefore, I emphasize the following philosophy for all my students: "Learn it.
