About Me
I have taught in the elementary classroom for 16 years in Georgia. I hold a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in elementary education. I have been trained in balanced literacy and the Upwords reading program (Orton-Gillingham based). My passion is to work with students who get lost in the classroom. I love to teach the struggling reader. I have a strong confidence I can help your child learn to become a better reader!
Hobbies & Interests
My husband and I love spending time with our family, watching football games and playing with our dogs, Pete and Moe. I love a good fiction novel and a back porch afternoon. Saturdays I love to play tennis and tool around thrift stores.
