About Me

I believe that a combination of patience, humor, and enthusiasm is the best way to overcome educational roadblocks. I strive to lessen any fears and negative associations students might have with a given subject. I want my determination to work hard to be an example for my students. I graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in Music History with a minor in Mathematics. I have a track record of excellence in academia overall, and have done well in math courses well beyond calculus. I have tutored mathematics and taught voice lessons on a freelance basis for the past year. I have enjoyed the experience of helping students achieve their goals. Over the summer, I helped an adult student dramatically improve her math skills on very short notice, which allowed her to pass a job-related math test.
