About Me

I am currently a 3rd year medical student working towards my M.D! I graduated from Pennsylvania State University (main campus, State College PA) spring of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science from the Eberly College of Science. I passed my USMLE Step 1 exam this year, so I am really passionate about this exam and other medicine/science based exams and helping students prepare to get the best possible score they can attain by mastering basic sciences, proper study techniques, and creating a schedule that works great for them. I achieved dean's list for my first two years of medical school and became a medical sciences tutor for the Academy of Teaching and Learning in my medical school. I was also a molecular biology teaching assistant in Penn State during my undergraduate years and led a class of students in teaching them cell biology, creating my own lesson plans, DNA lab techniques, grading lab reports, and holding office hours to tutor them individually on topics they needed help with. While science /health care field entrance exams, USMLE step 1, NMBE, clinical psychology/medical fields, and medical school basic sciences prep encompass my areas of expertise to tutor, I am also very passionate about and have experience with tutoring students from elementary school to high school across various subjects. I was a summer camp counselor the summer before medical school in a children's camp, and I have been tutoring my 15 year old brother since he was in preschool, so I enjoy teaching children of different ages and abilities.
