About Me

I am currently serving in my second year as a PreK teacher and I am loving it! I cherish the joy and excitement that children exhibit over my lessons. My favorite subject to tutor is Elementary reading. There is nothing better in teaching than when a student recognizes a letter or when he or she can decipher a new word! I am a strong believer that learning should be fun, accessible, and relate to a student's background knowledge. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, fishing, cooking, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends.
