About Me

I retired from a 10 year teaching career in June 2019. Prior to that I worked in private industry for 25 years, 19 of those with Hewlett-Packard Company. I was successful teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry to students in grades 9-12.I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from The New Jersey Institute of Technology (1982) and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University (1991).During my 10 years of teaching math at a public high school I worked with many students that had significant gaps in their education and were lacking in their English language skills. That has allowed me to develop many ways to make math content comprehensible to students at any level.
