About Me

I am currently a sophomore at IUPUI working towards a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Creative Writing focus and a Bachelor of Arts in PR Journalism. I am the youngest of six kids; four boys and two girls. I have been working with newborns to 15 year olds for almost seven years now. My first job was teaching swim lessons at my high school, and lifeguarding. I have babysat and nannied as well. While nannying I was often times required to help the kids finish their homework and I have done unpaid tutoring sessions for classmates in the past. I love to work with kids and teenagers because they have big and bright personalities that resonate through their work. I first learned about Varsity Tutors from my sisters boyfriend. Being a full-time college student makes working a minimum wage job hard, and tedious. Varsity Tutors gives me the ability to make money based off of my skill sets, and still allows me enough flexibility in my schedule to do my homework and extracurricular activities at school.
