I believe it is important to make real-life connections with what you learn. Education is bigger than just earning a great grade. You must be able to know when to apply what you have learned. My goal is to use all of skills and strategies to help someone else achieve their goals. I have been an educator since 2008. During that time, I have taught grade levels from Kindergarten to 9th grade. Currently, I am the Dean of Instruction for STEM & the Arts. I love coaching teachers on how to best differentiate their lessons to meet their students' needs. Along with coaching and teaching, I am pursuing my PhD in Curriculum and Instruction. I am excited to use the Varsity Tutor platform to continue to make learning fun and hard concepts easy to grasp.
