Though I recently took an early retirement from 18 years of teaching, it will never leave me. I enjoy teaching and tutoring one on one, seeing those "aha" moments and helping students succeed. Making connections through analogies, stories and real life application can increase all aspects of learning. Though my background is science (specifically chemistry), I also love helping in math, writing and study skills.

I am active and energetic and engage in running, occasional tennis and golf, and biking. I enjoy reading and writing, gardening, hiking and observing nature. Of course I love the beach!
