Growing up I felt I could be anything such as a fashion designer, movie director, historian, and way more. But my senior year in high school I had a change of heart and I wanted to teach. I enjoy doing volunteer tutoring helping kids improve their writing skills and helping with their reading comprehension. I am applying to tutor as I feel that my experiences of tutoring have been both personally satisfying and beneficial to the children I worked with. I would hope to give my students a sense of hope to understand the material and become more interested in the topic.
