About Me

Hello! My name is Tess and I am a recent graduate of Northwestern University, where I studied Theatre and Religious Studies. I am originally from Connecticut, and moved to New York last month to pursue a career in the arts. I am thrilled that I have the opportunity to work as a tutor in my free time. I have always loved learning and working with peers, which is why I decided to pursue a liberal arts education. I worked as a swim instructor for children ages 3-15 when I was in high school, and love being outdoors, exploring, traveling and dogs. I specialize in elementary school math, middle school math, as well as Calculus and Algebra. I am also eager to tutor English, writing and grammar. Due to my background in theatre, I am the perfect candidate for any performing arts based tutoring, including audition prep, playwriting, songwriting, in addition to other areas.
