About Me

I am originally from Evanston, IL. I just recently graduated from Brown University with a degree in Music Theory/History/Composition and am about to embark on a master's program at NYU in musical theatre writing. Aside from playing trombone or composing I can often be found baking something fresh or playing with dogs outside. Throughout high school I got a lot of help from my dad with my homework and realized the value of working with others on assignments. He taught me many of my tutoring philosophies that I have today, including the fact that teaching one of the best ways to solidify knowledge. I also want to help students find passion in subjects that they might not want to admit are interesting. I also want to highlight each students strengths to guide the way through where they are less confident. College application essays and writing papers may be stressful but I want to help students find the best methods to make the process engaging, enlightening, and, dare I say, fun.
