About Me

I am currently a 4th year medical student at Ross University School of Medicine. I graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and minors in Arabic and Business. Additionally, I obtained a Masters degree in Biomedical Science from Barry University in Miami, Florida. I have worked tirelessly to get to the point I am at today, and over the course of my studies, I have learned a few things about what it takes to be a successful student. Often times, the information we need to study for a test or for a challenging class can be accessed quite easily via textbook or other resources. However, it is easy to get overwhelmed with so much information to sift through. Thats where I can help. When I meet with a new student, I try to understand how and in which areas I can help, and then I develop an individualized plan to help my student learn and get engaged with their study materials. We all learn in different ways, and it is my job to find out what is the best strategy to get my student to learn what he or she wants to learn. I create individualized study plans for each student and I ensure that my students get adequate practice time to apply what they have recently studied.
