About Me

My name is Mark. I have been married to my high school love for seventeen years and we have three amazing boys, Jaxson (16 years old, Madden 12 years old and Jayce 8 years old).I have a passion for instilling the ideals of confidence in a learner. I have over 15 years of educational experience, with a very diverse background. Starting my educational career in New York (working the private and public education sectors in both general and special education) and moving to Georgia teaching high and middle school math and social studies, and preparing for administrative roles and responsibilities has made me more equipped to serve students for success. My teaching methods are geared towards twenty-first century learning methods (webquests, on-line/virtual learning, blogging, podcasts, etc) and learning strategies (reading and vocabulary). I connect to the student and build positive relationships. I relate the material to daily life. Most importantly, I try my best for students to have fun and make learning enjoyable and a positive experience.
