I will be graduating in December from the double-degree program at Oberlin College, where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Music in opera performance and a Bachelor of Arts in art history. I've been tutoring music theory and ear training at school for two years, and have taught private voice lessons for a year. I also have experience tutoring writing, French, and Italian. As a double-degree student, I've come to learn the most effective studying methods and organizational skills to succeed in a variety of different subjects. I think it's important to have balance in one's education and to learn through the subjects that the student is most passionate about. Because of this, I like to use methods that encourage creativity in my tutoring. I find they make the experience not only more fun but also more effective.
