About Me
I have experience working with a diverse range of students, from Adult GED candidates to grade school readers to South African high school poetry students. I am trained to tutor in reading comprehension and writing for all levels, U.S. and European history, SAT/ACT (Verbal, Reading, Writing, Literature, Subject Tests), ESL, and college applications. With experience working for a diverse range of students, my teaching philosophy is that patience, expertise, and enthusiasm are essential to the learning process. Outside of my studies, I love walking my two German Shepherds, practicing yoga, and enjoying a good book (don't worry, I have plenty of excellent recommendations for you!).
