About Me

I graduated with honors from William Paterson University with a double-major in Computer Science and Media Production. During my time there, I was a technical consultant, assisting and educating students and faculty members on our many pieces of media equipment and softwares, as well as a computer science tutor, teaching fellow computer science students on C++, Java, MySQL, data structures, operating systems, and other topics within the major. I specialize in computer science at the high school, advanced placement, and college level. I also tutor in high school math and creative/essay writing. In my free time, I produce and edit videos as well as write Java and design webpages. When I tutor, a common question I ask is "Why?" Students can guess right answers, but if they cannot reason their answers, they do not yet understand the subject. I enjoy using humorous examples to guide students towards success and make concepts easier to comprehend. Comedy is a great memory tool.
