I have an undergraduate degree in accounting, as well as an MBA. I currently work as a fractional COO for software company and am working on starting a company. I have also done some part time work, tutoring and teaching business topics at various times. My teaching philosophy is to bring the student along by steadily asking them to do more and more of the actual problem solving as we progress. My goal is to not only have the student do well in the particular course but to actually understand the topic in a way that will help them in their career. I enjoy applying whatever we are studying in an environment that the student can relate to.

My favorite thing to do with free time is cycling. I enjoy the country roads around North Carolina on weekends. I also enjoy watching sports, primarily college football and college basketball.
