My academic background and my innate desire to help others are two of many reasons why I love tutoring. Helping others and employing a Servant Leadership style is an innate trait of mine. I enjoy helping others in all aspects of life. Simply witnessing a student experience an 'aha' moment, or the mere excitement they experience when their grade improves or they pass a major exam simply brings a smile to my face and joy to my heart. Over the last decade I have been working in the Earth Science field as a Meteorologist/Oceanographer. I absolutely love math and science. I really take pride in helping others achieve academic success and I have a unique way of truly helping others understand the material. Helping others in any aspect of life has always been a true passion of mine. Being able to live out my life's purpose of helping others achieve success is awesome and I simply enjoy it. Tutors have a very unique role that is rather different from that of a parent or teacher. Tutors have to reach deep into the student's mind and gain a deeper understanding of how the student thinks, interprets, and analyzes information. This is a prerequisite in addition to have the ability to present the material in an easy to understand format. I am excited to play a role in this process in which in the end everyone's a winner!
