I graduated Grinnell College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies with a focus on women's history. I have been passionate about tutoring others since I was in high school. I began tutoring in high school as a hebrew school tutor and I volunteered in my high school's writing lab to help edit essays. As a senior in college, I was selected to tutor underclassman in writing and history. I took a special class to better learn how to teach writing at a college level. Because I have experience studying humanities, social sciences, and sciences I am passionate about tutoring a wide variety of subjects. I believe the key to an effective tutoring session is adaptability and making sure to personalize my approach to each student's needs.
