About Me

I am a graduate from Wright State University. I obtained my Bachelors in Integrated Language Arts/English Education and my Masters in English Literature. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Health and Wellness Psychology at University of the Rockies, which will be complete in 2018. I am now in the All but Dissertation (ABD) stage of my Doctorate degree. I enjoy education and helping others to reach their full potential. I have been teaching and tutoring in colleges and universities for five years. My teaching philosophy is simplifying complicated information by making it easier to understand. I believe that every student can be taught if given the time and patience to do so. We all have the potential for greatness. I remain personal yet professional with my students, incorporating their life experiences in critical and creative thinking materials. In the process, I work towards becoming a better person every day. I have a variety of interests in music, singing, writing, cooking, and photography. I am a wife and mother. My 10-month-old son is the most important person in my life. The love of God guides my life daily.
