I received my Master of Arts in English (Literature and Culture) with a focus on 20th Century American Literature. I received my Master of Education from the University of Sioux Falls. Additionally, I earned a double major (English and Theatre) from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Throughout these varying programs, I have sought opportunities to tutor students. From one-on-one mentoring of middle school sltudents, to small classroom work at the Refugee and Immigration Center, I have experience working with students of varying backgrounds and goals. Additionally, I have earned certification in English and Theatre subjects for grades 7-12. Currently, I teach middle and high school drama as well as 9th grade English. I am most passionate about the humanities; however, I tutor in a broad range of subjects. Along my educational path, various people tutored and mentored me in order to push my academic performance. I aim to assist you achieve your desired goals. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, hiking, sports, fitness, and daily adventures.
