My goal is to help students improve their grammar and usage skills, written voice, and overall paper or essay cohesiveness and creativity.

About Me

I will be graduating from the University of Richmond in May of 2017. I am a double major in Leadership Stuides and English with a minor in Creative Writing. I've interned for a local publishing and editing house, and have assumed writing and leadership roles in every written publication on my campus. Improving writing skills is essential to being an excellent communicator at high school and college levels as well as for future employment.

Being an encourager is essential. A cheerleader might generically say "you're doing a great job, keep it up!"? However, an encourager would point out the areas a student is excelling in as well as where the student needs specific improvements. Making sure that students know areas in which they are doing a fabulous job is important, while also making sure that students know areas they need to work on.
