I facilitate a comfortable, consistent learning environment that challenges students with interesting, interactive, relevant lessons. Students should walk away from my class with a deep understanding of content and a great feeling of accomplishment, as well as a sense of community. My goal as a teacher is to help students better understand themselves and their place in the world, and to become a better citizen of our local communities .
