I obtained a Bachelors in Science with a major in psychology from Barry University in 2012. After college, I took one year to travel abroad and experience different cultures around the world. During my college years I became a private tutor for different subjects such as elementary math, algebra, SSAT prep, reading and writing among others. I taught various students ranging from 1st grade to seniors in high school. I took great pleasure in seeing my students progress throughout their academic years. I consider my teaching style to be very flexible as I like to allow my students' personality and strengths to mold my style. Moreover, I am an advocate of individualized learning as every child is different and unique in their own way. I have worked as a case manager for the past 2 years with children ages 5 to 18 where I provided social services and assistance to improve their social, psychological, and educational functioning. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, playing and watching sports such as soccer, and reading comics and novels.
