About Me

The confidence that all students have the capacity to reach their academic goals is the hallmark of my approach to tutoring. Having overcome significant challenges to achieve a Ph.D. at one of Britain's most selective Universities, I have a particular sense of mission for helping fellow scholars to succeed. I would be grateful for the opportunity to draw upon my extensive tutoring and teaching experience in accompanying you in the attainment of your educational objectives. I have extensive experience as an individual tutor in both Britain and the USA. At Durham University, I served as a Resident Tutor for first-year undergraduates. On returning to the USA, I provided individual coaching in essay writing and editing for international students at Western New England University. I also offered SAT tutoring through Upward Bound, a program which supports first-generation college applicants. This tutoring experience is complemented by a strong background in teaching and research. I have taught courses in Medieval and Renaissance Literature at Western New England University in Massachusetts and Durham University in England. My academic papers have appeared in the Bulletin of the Society for Renaissance Studies and the Kaleidoscope journal of interdisciplinary studies.
