About Me

I'm an IB Diploma holder, and received my Bachelor degree in Science (Biology/Premed) from the CUNY College of Staten Island. I am bilingual in the Spanish language as well and have been tutoring students from elementary school up to college for over 8 years. As a professional tutor, my goal is to make sure that a student learns to study and learn the smart way. To do so take the following steps: Assessing, Reinforcing, and Applying. Since no student is completely unfamiliar to the subject he is struggling with, I go ahead and assess the depth of his knowledge of that subject. From that assessment, I address what needs to be reinforced, sort of like putting pieces of a puzzle together. All this using the already known Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) learning styles.
