About Me

I am an experienced former ESL teacher/tutor with my B.A. in Communications from Walla Walla University in College Place, WA, minoring in History. I have experience working with all ages and skill levels with expertise in reading, writing, editing, history, public speaking, religion, geography, and ESL. I enjoy travelling, reading, and cooking. My favorite subjects to teach are reading, writing, and speaking. My teaching philosophy is to find what interests the student and work from there to help the student improve at whatever they are having trouble with. I like to try and find a way to connect what they're learning to what they love. My hobbies include reading, writing, cooking, playing video games, and watching nerdy tv shows. Everyone I know would say that I am friendly and personable and easy to get to know and get along with.
