About Me

I am a student currently attending Florida International University pursing a Bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in Education. I have extensive experience working alongside children and their parents as a childcare volunteer and as a tutor for children with special needs. I would consider the opportunity to work with you an honor as teaching children is my passion in life. Some key points relevant to my skill set are as follows:· Collectively, 2 years work experience working with children.· A.A. Sociology from Miami Dade College.· Good judgment and decision-making acumen. I like to spend the majority of my spare time outdoors, whether it is kayaking in the Keys, camping throughout Florida, or simply laying by the ocean. I have a passion for nature and animals. I am the proud Momma of a rambunctious 7-month-old kitten named Zelda and a baby Red-Eared Slider named Mortimer, Jr. who just loves to chomp on worms. I believe that maintain a childlike wonder of the world around you is essential to fostering a love for new knowledge. That being said, I have a love for comic books and all things DC and Marvel. Some of my favorite titles include: Saga, Supergod, and Kingdom Come. My favorite shows would have to be Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and The Flash.
