About Me
I completed my MA in Linguistics at the University of Hawai'i, where I focused on Native American languages, and recently moved to New Mexico to work in Native American language education. I especially enjoy tutoring students in English literature, writing and editing, linguistics, and ESL. I am an experienced public speaker and am able to coach students in making and preparing for presentations as well. I love getting to know my students personally, and make it a point to engage their interests in all of our sessions. My teaching style is very conversational, and will involve hands-on activity whenever possible!
Hobbies & Interests
In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, being in nature, and doing fun things with my son!
