About Me

I am currently certified to teach general science 5-9 and Biology 6-12. My experience as a teacher along with my passion for helping others all contribute to my success as a tutor. My favorite subject to tutor is life science. I love learning about health, living things, and animal diversity. I've always found teaching life science to be my favorite subject to teach because it is such a hands on subject that most people enjoy learning about. Who doesn't like learning about animals? I also tutor earth and space science and physical science. I enjoy creating a positive learning environment and personalizing each lesson to best meet the needs of the learner. I always try make the subject fun, because it really is! Some of my hobbies include traveling, photography, camping, and my newest interest: baking and decorating cupcakes.
