About Me

I am a natural teacher and a forever-student. I have a B.A., an M.A., and a Ph.D. I love learning, and I love how positively the life of the mind impacts one’s existence in this world. I enjoy sharing this with others, and my ability to assist a wide-variety of types of learners is confirmed by the hundreds of students who have attested to my ability over the years and in different settings and institutions. My extensive education has given me an immense appreciation for all things philosophical and for the many great civilizations of human history, as well as an in-depth understanding of the relationship between human beings and the earth. In addition to intellectual pursuits, I also teach and perform tribal belly dance, am an artist, a lover of music, and a lover of nature.
