About Me

I was born in Miami, Florida to two cuban parents who arrived in the United States as political refugees. I moved to Orlando in 2010 to attend the University of Central Florida. I have a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from UCF and I am starting my Health Care Informatics MS program in the fall 2015 (also at UCF).My favorite subjects during my undergraduate career include Algebra, Trigonometry, Cell Biology and Endocrinology. I would describe myself as a science nerd who is also adept at mathematics. My personality is suited for tutoring since I am very patient and laid-back and I get a lot of satisfaction from successfully explaining concepts to others. My hobbies include working out, playing basketball and going to the beach.
